The history of Corvallis includes Oregon State University becoming the prevalent higher education institution which primarily focused on agricultural science and general studies. And with it came along the many Fraternity Houses that are part of the University.
The front and back windows were very damaged and we needed to restore and rebuild them.
The first picture is before Vintage Windows Restoration and the second is after we finished our work. We specifically worked on the first floor façade.
Next is the rear facade view of main floor before and after restoration. Five windows needed re-building. Numerous windows needed parts replaced. New knives were made to match the original profile for manufacturing in our shop. Original windows had paint removed to bare wood and all the frames were oiled, glazed and painted. All original hinges were re-used while new casement latches and stay arms were installed since numerous hardware was missing.
